Majoring in Finance
Georgia State University
From Duluth, GA
I am a senior at Georgia State University where I am pursuing a dual degree in Finance and Computer Information Systems. I am currently an IT intern at InComm and part of the Business Resilience team. On this team I have completed several site vulnerability assessments by conducting internal and external research about possible threats that may affect each office location. Prior to joining this team, I have worked on the IT Procurement team to document and analyze all IT contracts and acquisitions. I am heavily involved in AIS GSU, an organization for students interested in the Information Systems industry. I am on the Executive Board as the VP of Finance & Budgets and I manage a state funded budget to ensure proper usage and disbursements of funds. In my free time, I teach a series of course I designed called UCoupon. These courses teach people how to maximize their household budgets through the effective use of coupons by utilizing social media and digital technologies. After graduation I hope to gain meaningful employment in a large financial services or technology firm. My areas of interest include Information Security and Project Management. I would like a role where I can utilize both my analytical and technical skill sets to improve the alignment of IT and Finance business strategies.
