Who Uses Merit?
Hundreds of colleges and universities use Merit to tell the unique story of your experience and success at their institution to the people who care about you. That story lives on your Merit page.
How did I get a Merit page?
Your Merit page was created for you by your high school, college, or other organization you're a member of, like an honor society. Individuals cannot create a Merit page by themselves.
How is my Merit page updated?
Your college uses Merit to update your page with the verified activities and accomplishments it chooses to promote. You can also add unverified activities to your Merit page.
How to customize my Merit page?
You can add a cover photo, profile photo and brief bio to your Merit page. Just sign in to your Merit page and visit the 'My Account' tab to personalize your page. You can even create a custom URL to share with potential employers.
Who can see my Merit page?
You can control who and how people discover your Merit page. Most students make their Merit pages public so they can be discovered by potential employers, but you can also hide your page from search engines.
What if I don't want a Merit page?
That's fine! Merit is a great way to show off your success and involvement, but if you want to remove your page entirely and prohibit your college or other organizations from promoting your achievements, just opt out.
