I am currently working at Visa Inc. as a Sr. Information Security Analyst in the Advanced Threat Detection (ATD) team. I completed my Ph.D. from the department of Computer and Information Sciences, University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) in April 2016. During my Ph.D, I worked at the SECuRE and Trustworthy Computing Lab (SECRETLab) under the supervision of Dr. Ragib Hasan and engaged myself in diversified areas of the computer security research field.

• Working on developing a forensics-enabled cloud architecture, developed a secure logging system for OpenStack cloud platform, a domain specific language for secure logging, and a scheme for providing proofs of past data possession. • Designed and developed a highly scalable and parallel infrastructure to deduplicate a big dataset of potential malicious URLs using Amazon EC2 and Amazon SQS. • Designed and developed a decentralized scheme for secure location assertion and provenance for the Department of Homeland Security. • Built a proof-of-concept mobile malware in Android, which can be triggered using audio, light, and magnetic channels. This work received huge media attention, including MSN News, AT&T Tech Channel, SC Magazine, The Hacker News, Semantic, etc. • Acted as a reviewer of Journal of Applied Soft Computing 2014. Acted as an external reviewer for ACM TISSEC 2014, IEEE Transactions on Reliability 2014, ASIACCS 2013-2014, DBSec 2013-2014, ACSAC 2013-2014, IDCS 2012, IARIA Journal 2012, SECURWARE 2012, and CUBE 2012.
