Public Relations Intern at Roma Boots

Interning for Roma Boots has given me experience in fashion, one for one companies and social media. With the help of Photoshop, Polyvore, Tweriod and Viraltag, I create engaging and creative content for all social media mediums. In addition to creating posts in line with the brands’ main messages, I explore all aspects of the brand in order to post a variety of material, which engages a large spectrum of consumers.

Social Media Assistant at Emporia State University

As the student social media assistant for Emporia State University, I attend events so I can live-tweet, post Facebook updates and post pictures and videos on Twitter/Facebook/Instagram/Pinterest. During my time as the social media assistant I have multiplied the number of Pinterest followers by five. In conjunction with the social media manager we have averaged 154 “retweets” and 113 “likes” per day, since my time here.
