I am currently a student-athlete seeking an career in marketing, utilizing strong team and interpersonal skills. I am very extroverted, I am great at multi-tasking, and will do what ever needs to be done to finish the task(s) at hand. I have played soccer for 16 years of my life, and am still playing today. Through soccer, I have picked up some great attributes, such as being a great team player and having to learn how to work in a timely manner. I also picked up determination, focus, heart, to never give up and to give my 100% to any task(s) that I am given and to work my hardest to get that task(s) done in time, every time. I love a leadership role, but I also know when it is more acceptable to listen and take some advice. Marketing is new found interest to me and I want to continue to learn and develop Marketing skills to make me the best I can be. My most recent job is working at California Pizza Kitchen as a server, take-out, and food-runner which I find as just a new way to meet people and better my interpersonal skills. I also have Volunteered two times with different Children organizations. One was the Firehouse in Highland Park which was an after school program for children with mental disabilities and children who just needed after school tutoring. The second and most recent Volunteering that i did was through Beacon Place Community Center. Through this Non-Profit Organization, I was the Head of Sports and Recreational Activities. These volunteer opportunities gave my skills such as Leadership, how to organize tasks, how to come up with both primary and secondary tasks, how to be loving with all groups of people, patience, and I had to learn to be on time.

Marketing and Public Relations Intern at Carthage College Arts and Humanities Department

I will be working for the Arts and Humanities Department to help build Media Relations. I will also be assisting with communication to news media: radio, television, print magazines, Sunday supplements, calendar listings, freelance writers, and trade publications with the intent of getting them to publish or broadcast news and features. Landmark Acoustics uses understandings from the motion-capture and biometric industries to convert the visual patterns of spectrograms into readable interpretable data of speech sounds. What I am doing at Velocity: -Developing a brand for Landmark Acoustics by creating a name, letterhead, personality, mission statement and personality statement. -Initiating marketing research for the company with competitive analysis, SAM analysis, marketing mixes, marketing matrices, content matrices, product analysis, and competitive consumer analysis. -Creating a pricing model, working to create a monthly subscription and fill customer specific needs. -Market research to find the region with highest and lowest density of speech pathologists.

I am a Server at Rosebud Restaurant Group in Deerfield, Illinois. My position consists of communicating regularly with guests, taking orders, multi-tasking with my different tables and with different orders, knowing the menu, selling the food and drink, communicating effectively with other employees and managers, and working on a team to give the best service to the guests. I am also in charge of running my food to the tables, making sure the guests are satisfied with their food and helping fellow employees whenever I can.
