Tavia Thurmond, founder and Executive Director of World Queens Pageants, started competing in beauty pageants as a child and it quickly evolved into an interest for her and both of her sisters. All had won many local, state, and national awards but Tavia had the greatest love for pageants out of the three girls. Each young woman whoearns a crown at the Miss World Queens competition will embark on a year full of service to the charities, businesses, and organizations of her choosing. Participation in the Miss World Queens Pageant will be a platform to develop long lasting relationships, self-esteem, recreation, and a FUN time.
