Product Integration Specialist/Logistics Manager at CECOM Field Support Directorate/PM J-AIT
Responsible for worldwide fielding, system integration, and management of the Radio Frequency In-Transit Visibility (RF-ITV) system in NORTHCOM, SOUTHCOM, PACOM and CENTCOM Combatant Commands (COCOMs). The RF-ITV system tracks unit equipment and sustainment cargo as it enters or leaves the COCOMs by gathering data from and providing data to 28 Logistics Systems. Planned, organized and directed site surveys and business process engineering work efforts to implement and upgrade RF-ITV system infrastructure at new and existing sites. I provided expertise in automated logistics management systems pertaining to RFID. I coordinated and directed the actions of 43 contractor personnel to ensure over 630 RFID sites maintained an Operational Readiness Rate of 95%. Compiled and analyzed data retrieved from the In Transit Visibility (ITV) Server to determine logistics planning and operational issues affecting operational performance. Managed and monitored the ITV Server Helpdesk as an analytical tool to determine optimal system operational capabilities. Provided management oversight and direction to field service engineers to execute maintenance support and upgrade efforts. Reviewed and tracked funding resources for Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) equipment and services for Department of Defense (DoD) and Army supported customers. Followed common Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) policies/procedures to train and field RF ITV systems throughout all supported COCOMs. Provided ILS to RFID and Automatic Identification Technologies (AIT) and ensure it was maintained throughout the systems life cycle. Conducted staff assistance visits to the COCOMs to inform commands of new technologies and identify new RFID requirements. During these Staff assistance visits utilize problem-solving skills to develop a win-win solution that support DoD, Coalition partners and PD J-AIT goals resulting in the establishment of Memoranda Of Understanding (MOU) as required. Serve as the Southwest Asia (SWA) Liaison Officer for the PM J-AIT in the CENTCOM AOR in Kuwait and Afghanistan during a six month rotation cycle.
