Collaborating with colleagues to design aircraft components as per customer specifications. Customers include Boeing, NASA, Northrup Grumman and Airbus.

As the high levels systems engineer, my responsibility lays in designing the overall architecture of the plane; this entails designing the sizing of the wing, tail, fuselage and control surfaces for a high level of stability and aerodynamic efficiency. Additionally, and most importantly, I will be responsible for allocating the aircraft’s center of gravity – a property critical to the plane’s airworthiness. Another duty of mine will be to successfully integrate the various systems of the plane which include auxiliaries, landing gear, structures, propulsion and telemetry. Although I will be personally responsible for the aforementioned tasks, the plane is being designed and constructed by our entire Aero Team and many duties may overlap with one another. As the team leader, my duties included providing continuous leadership. I accomplished this by ensuring constant organization by the using an online file storage service so all documentation was centrally located and could be accessed at any time by any team member. Additionally, I established efficient bi-weekly team meetings to ensure a high level of consistent progression, accountability and comradery within the team.
