The Shapiro Creative Writing Center serves as the hub for writing activities at Wesleyan University. It provides an open space for readings, workshops, Masters classes, and student-sponsored events. • Gained experience in event planning, administrative work, and social media outreach, as the assistant to Amy Bloom, Wesleyan University Writer-in-Residence • Facilitated and advertised all events in Shapiro Center, such as staged readings with visiting professors and writing workshops. Designed advertising for student-sponsored events using Adobe InDesign. • Ensured administrative upkeep of the Shapiro Center. • Designed website for upcoming writer's conference using WordPress.
