The No Fear Ladies Conference was about encouraging women to work hard and believe in themselves. I had the opportunity to speak to the young ladies ages 12-18. I spoke to the girls about fighting for their dreams, keeping a positive attitude, and being confident in themselves. We also discussed the importance of stepping out and stepping into leadership roles.
I managed all aspects of a congressional level primary campaign. As the campaign manager, it was my responsibility to hire and train the interns and volunteers, manage message development, policy communication, tactical operations of the ground game, volunteer organization, event management, list management, voter ID, problem-solving and opposition understanding, financial planning, and I managed get out the vote operations.
I spoke to over 300 young ladies ages 16-19 about the importance of setting goals and working hard to accomplish your dreams. The Dream Girls panel was an open discussion on self-esteem, characteristics of healthy relationships, making healthy choices, refusal skills, purity, overcoming obstacles, and the power of believing in your dreams.
I led a workshop for the young women ages 13-18. We discussed verbal & nonverbal communication skills, interview tips, the importance of striving for excellence, building confidence, achieving healthy relationships, and setting goals to reach your dreams. I also spoke to the women at the conference about leadership.
I led a workshop at a local coffee shop that was open to people in the community. The workshop covered nonverbal communication and personal growth. These are two major topics that help to improve communication skills. They were taught how to conduct a proper handshake, use nonverbal communication to their advantage, and communicate on an interpersonal level.
