Vice President-Certified SCO at Veterans Club at Azusa Pacific University
As Vice President of the Veterans Club at APU, tasked with the organization of group activities, recruitment and the dispersal of educational benefit awareness to group members and veterans throughout the school. Being certified as a School Certifying Official (SCO), responsibilities would include ensuring that eligible service members and dependents are promptly and properly certified in VA-ONCE. An SCO Certifies enrollment to VA and notifies VA of any changes in a student’s enrollment. They also interact with State Approving Agencies (SAA), informing them about relevant changes in school programs, policies, personnel and documentation.
