Thermal Devices is an electrical supply distributer that specializes in industrial heaters and controls. My main project is focused on developing the technical content for the new Thermal Devices website. I have also helped out with smaller tasks, such as, electrical equipment testing and set-up. Below is a quick summary of what I have accomplished at my internship: -Created all technical content on website (product pages, manufacturer pages, etc.) -Communicated with manufacturers to gather information and technical documentation -Provided website designers with feedback and recommendations -Created WI's and technical reports -Conducted electrical testing on products -Helped with product set-up

Senseonics is a medical technology company located in Germantown MD. The company has successfully designed (and is now commercializing) a long term implantable glucose monitoring sensor. Working at Senseonics has given me priceless experience and allowed me to become part of a team that is dedicated to creating a ground breaking product that will help people with diabetes live their lives with ease. Below is a quick summary of what I have accomplished at my internship: -Helped lead multiple experiments/research projects focused on various aspects of the sensor manufacturing process -Designed manufacturing improvements (such as fixtures and holding devices) -Project leader for planning a small scale manufacturing facility -Assisted with data/inventory processing -Assisted with creating quality control documentation and performing validation protocols -Helped create and organize BOM's and WI's -Communicated frequently with manufacturers, engineers and vendors to assist with production -Recognized by management for strong communication and problem solving skills
