Alejandro Rivera

Member of The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi
From Kyle, Texas
I am a problem solver. Naturally, I have always been curious as to how things work and finding a better, more efficient way of doing things. In every position that I have held, I have been tasked to solve problems and communicate solutions to those who care about efficiency and effectiveness. Whether it was creating a centralized repository for compliance documents to ensure a quick turnaround or optimizing workflows to develop business processes; my goals focus on improvement. Because of my inquisitive nature, I have also researched and co-designed several environmentally-themed infographics which have been displayed in several electronics manufacturing publications including EBN and PCB007. They have also been used in a company training seminar on conflict minerals for Garmin. I am also extremely fascinated by cause and effect, so I have immersed myself in data analysis as a hobby. I analyze several levels of granularity and compare them to the overall big-picture of a problem. I enjoy using large datasets to help me analyze and solve problems and effectively communicate my analysis to those who want results. This has recently led me to wanting to learn more about database management and data mining concepts and practices, which I do on my spare time in between working and completing my MBA program. Send me an InMail message or connect with me if you are looking for a solution to a problem that you may have or are interested in discussing my experience.
