Alicia Clampett

Alicia Clampett is a driven young woman who just completed her Master's degree in Strategic Communication in December 2014. Currently, Alicia works for a Fortune 500 company, Aflac, where she is a part of the LeAP (Leadership and Analyst) program. This role is allowing her to build her tool set for future endeavors by rotating in six different areas of human resources over a two year period. She has completed her rotation in Employee Communications where she wrote articles, created quick polls and wrote emails for internal communication to employees. Alicia also helped to plan Employee Appreciation Week for Aflac, using her communication, PhotoShop and creative thinking skills. Alicia also finished rotating in the Talent Acquisition department where she learned how to recruit, source and onboard employees. Alicia worked on multiple projects in the Talent Acquisition area to help improve the overall experience. She is currently rotating in Compensation, where she is learning about processing performance appraisals, conducting market research and giving salary recommendations. Alicia is not only driven in her academics and career aspects, but she also has a passion for community service. She is a member of the Young Professionals of the Greater Columbus Georgia Chamber of Commerce.
