Alyssa Taubert

I challenge myself as a motivated student to complete my college career with a degree in Psychology with a concentration in Counseling and Health and a double minor in Biology and Spanish. I am learning new skills such as leadership and communication by getting involved on and off-campus. With these skills I hope to use them to fulfill my passion for providing care and assistance especially to adults whom may have suffered from a tragic accident leading them to not be able to live their lives fully. I am passionate about encouraging and providing positive energy to keep those who need rehabilitation on the track to living a brighter, fuller life by rebuilding their fine motor skills they may have lost. I have such excitement to continue dedicating myself to service and quality care as I reach my goal to work in a rehabilitation hospital. I have excellent communication and leadership skills. The organizations I am a part of, including being a director of the 1804 Society, a Gold Key Admissions Ambassador, and my school's dance team captain, have taught me valuable lessons and expanded my knowledge in those areas. Through my work, I have learned to deal with credit cards and money diligently, provide quality costumer service, and be fully committed to each shift I am working. As my undergraduate career continues I hope to gain more skills in various areas by challenging myself to new opportunities such as my Community Service Fellowship, which has taught me development skills that I had not been exposed to. I now can apply my new knowledge to various future job positions.
