I have always had a great interest and writing and media. I graduated from FLCC in 2010 with an associates in New Media. I am the third generation of women to attend Geneseo, starting with my great grandmother in 1938. College has always been extremely important to me and I am one of the most out going, hard working women you will ever meet. I love to see new places, try new things, and help others. I especially love art, poetry, and, of course, music!

I was nominated by my professors to receive this honorable scholarship, provided by the family of Brooke Makoweic of $1500,00 in honor of her memory and time at FLCC. It was a great honor to be chosen and I cannot express my gratitude to my former professors and also her family.

I was inducted into Phi Theta Kappa, a two year degree honor society and maintained a 3.5 GPA for the full two years I was there. It was a great honor and I graduated with high honors in 2010.
