Amity Mclaughlin
With an older brother in the Army and a younger brother just graduating High School I felt as though I could do something good with my future. This is why I am now part of the new McMurry War Hawk tradition. Along with attending school, Band and Track are of major interest. Playing Alto Saxophone in Marching band, Wind Ensemble, and Jazz band. The athletic part is still under going. Ever since the age 13 I looked up to those who coached and taught athletics. Even wanting to play Football, instead I became the JH, JV, and Vs Football manager. Taking care of everything from equipment to hydration and even setting up for practice. Being around athletes like this really made me think about my major. I would rather be out on the football field or basketball quart than sitting in a desk all day.
