Andrew Picone

- As a Peer Advisor at the School of Business, I provide orientation, academic and social support to a minimum or ten underclassmen. This includes helping them choose classes pertinent to their majors, helping them organize their schedules, resume building, and informing them of academic and social events. - As one of five honored Executive Board Members of the Peer Advisors Organization, I have participated in student leadership programming and have coordinated community service initiatives for the group. The premiere organization we have been working with over the past year is Habitat for Humanity. - As Chair of Fundraising, I organized two successful fundraisers which helped the group meet our goal of repaying inherited debt to the College while earning a modest profit. During these events, I worked closely with the college's Finanace department, our Dean, local business leaders and our team of dedicated Peer Advisors.
