Arlec Cabrera

I am a first-generation Mexican-American female and aspiring physician-surgeon. I have been curious about the brain for as long as I can remember and strive to become the most competent and caring neurosurgeon I can become. My unique life experiences along with my personal choices have made me a strong advocate for women in higher education and competitive professional fields. My life views include high doses of optimism, intentional actions, and love for all I put work into.
