I am currently a junior accounting major from Corning, Iowa. I will graduate with my BBA of Accounting in May of 2016 and plan to graduate with my Masters of Accounting in spring of 2017. Within the Tippie College of Business I am involved in Alpha Kappa Psi, Beta Alpha Psi, and I'm also a Direct Admit Peer Mentor. I work in the Department of Accounting in the Tippie College of Business and am a Campus Ambassador for McGladrey.

Student Assistant at Tippie College of Business Department of Accounting
As a student assistant, I complete administrative tasks for professors, faculty and teaching assistants both in the department of account and management and organizations. I report to the department administrator and also answer questions both in person as well as on the telephone.

Direct Admit Peer Mentor at University of Iowa - Henry B. Tippie College of Business
I oversee discussion sections with the incoming class of Direct Admit students and help them transition into college. I lead class presentations and group activities to facilitate discussion. My role is to also be a role model for students and promote involvement on campus through student organizations and other engagements.

Participate in student forums, during Iowa Overview sessions. Communicate clearly with prospective students and parents about the University. Create a positive interaction with all visitors to campus. Assisted with recruitment of largest incoming freshman class in history of 4,666 student for year 2014-2015.
