I am a student at Frostburg State University pursing a degree in health sciences with the ultimate goal of graduating from Vet school. I have a deep passion for animals and have always had the desire to work with them. I have completed internships in various locations including Tri-State Zoological Park as a animal care intern in Cumberland Maryland, and Dolphin Encounters as a marine mammal training intern in Nassau Bahamas. I currently work as a bartender at FBar in Frostburg Maryland as well as continue to work at the zoo. I also assist in the care of 12 cotton top tamarin's located on campus run by Dr. Erica Kennedy.

Brittany Reed was recognized for studying abroad
2 week internship at Dolphin Encounters in Nassau Bahamas. My intern title was Marine Mammal Training intern. I spent my two weeks assisting in training and husbandry sessions for both dolphins and sea lions, preparing diets, general cleaning, pool maintenance, etc. I also spent time assisting in feeding the stingrays that are now present at dolphin encounters for guests to interact with.
