My name is Chelsey Smith, education and getting involved has always been a priority for myself. I like joining new groups and organizations to help gain hands on knowledge that can only be gained outside of the class room. A common theme in my past and present organizations I am involved in is leadership and communication, in which it takes both to become successful. I am currently an undergraduate student at San Diego State and I look forward to maximizing and taking advantage of any and all opportunities I can while here.

Work Experience

Head Coach and Front Office Assitant at Corona Stars Cheer

I started working at Corona Stars my junior year of high school. Since then, the gym has progressed tremendously, opening up 2 locations in the city. During my time coaching, I have been head coach of 5 teams with between 7 and 26 girls per team ages ranging from 4-17. I have also helped work the front desk, selling merchandise, and familiarizing myself with the internet program known as JackRabbit.
