Christina Marshall

I have experience as a Post Cardiothoracic ICU Nurse at Albany Medical Center and as a traveling nurse at different hospitals. I am currently qualified in caring for patients with the HeartMate II LVAD, CentraMag Ventricular Assist Device, Balloon Pumps, And CRRT. I am currently the chair of our units scheduling committee, co-chair of the LVAD committee and a member of the leadership committee. I am proficient in EHR and Kronos system. Each facility I have worked for has enabled me to work both independently and interdependently with the health care team members in a hospital setting. My experiences have provided me with opportunities to administer direct patient care to progress patients to the next level of care. The paramedic program I participated in prior to entering the nursing program broadened my knowledge and awareness of current trends and breakthroughs in the field of medicine and patient care. My goal is to complete a bachelor's program and to obtain a position in the health care industry that provides opportunity for professional development, and growth potential in which I can build on my medical training and experience to benefit the employer and advance my career choice.
