Primarily assists director in management of admin support program functions. Administers programs and serves as primary source of information. Responsible for prep, maintenance, and disposition of required admin reports and correspondence. Assists director in accomplishing internal operations, administrative training, security, and personnel assistance. Point of contact for all new personnel; orients them regarding the functions of org., introduces them to key personnel and schedules orientation reqs. Proposes alter approaches to management to operate programs. Assists in planning for and coordinating the implementation and compliance with higher echelon policy and procedural reqs in area of administration. Disseminates information concerning procedures/regulations. Based on admin support program reqs, determines admin needs, and assures needs are met. Instructs on changes in admin policies and procedures. Identifies and implements processes for improved or made more efficient through application of automated technology or other methods. Suspense's work, assigns suspenses to staff personnel. Collects, organizes, and complies data in order to recommend actions to director. Conducts studies, inquiries and surveys to determine compliance with program requirements. Serves as the resident subject matter expert for admin support programs. Ensures unit program compliance with regulations, laws, policies and directives. Develops and implements procedures to track program status and maintain program health. Identifies and responds to programs and keeps operating at or above satisfactory levels. Communicates requirements and provides guidance to Support Division members. Attends required training meetings and functions as related to the prescribed unit programs. Advises the Director on policy and executes directives through establishment of procedures for associated programs. Prepares one-time and recurring reports and briefing materials.
