Golden Bear Bands (Concert, Pep, Jazz)

The Golden Bear Bands are the collection of instrumental performing ensembles made up of students of any major and any level of playing ability. The Bands consist of the Concert Band, Pep Band, as well as smaller groups like the Saxophone Quartet. They perform each semester at the fall and spring showcases, as well as at open houses, special events on campus, and sports events. The Golden Bear Bands also host events, such as Late Nights, and fundraising events throughout the year.

Campus Chorus

The University Campus Chorus is open to all students from all majors across campus. Singers can participate for academic credit or as a cocurricular activity. Chorus sings for two major concerts on campus each year as wells as for on-campus traditions such as the Festival of Lights, and the spring choral festival hosted by the Cooperating Colleges of Greater Springfield. The Chorus has a tradition of leadership through our student executive board.
