Christopher Kinder

I finished my BS in historic preservation in May 2012, becoming the first generation in my family to graduate from college.  Currently I am pursuing an MA in public history and hope to graduate in the spring of 2014.  After graduation I plan to pursue my PhD in American history. I have a broad research interest in the 19th century.  Currently I am working on my Master's thesis which covers race in the early Pentecostal movement.  I have had the opportunity to present my research at several conferences throughout the US. 

I have been married for 7 years to my wife Jodi, and we have a 6 year old son, Aiden.
