Carmen Martinez

Becker College
From Worcester, MA
Since graduating with Highest Honors from Quinsigamond Community College with an Associates in Early Childhood Education in 2014, I've happily worked for the Worcester Public School's Head Start program educating children from 2.9 to 5 years old in a preschool setting. For the past 3 years, I've gained experience in positively guiding young children, planning/implement emergent curriculum, assessing them using the Work Sampling assessment tool and building positive relationships with parent and children. For the past nine months that I have worked with Autism Learning Partners, I have gained experience in positively guiding children diagnosed with Autism. As a Behavioral Technician (ABA Therapist) I've become skilled in implementing behavioral management techniques to promote social and life skills made by a BCBA. I am currently attending Becker College in pursuit of my Bachelor degree in Psychology.
