I have been passionate about Mathematics for as long as I can remember. I am a recent Lycoming College graduate with a Mathematics major and Computer Science minor. I am extremely driven, motivated, hard-working, and I take pride in every piece of work that I produce.
I have developed critical thinking skills through my work as an intern at Discovery Machine, Inc. where I used my coding skills to contribute to the creation of interactive simulations, my work as a mathematics tutor in the Lycoming College Math Center, and through the wide variety of Mathematics and Computer Science courses that I have taken over the past seven semesters. I enjoy puzzles, and I love to exercise my mind.
I have also developed leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills through my involvement in various clubs and organizations on campus, and through holding a wide range of office positions within those clubs. I love to be involved and make new connections with people around me. I have also developed my communication skills through my role as a Resident Student Mentor, which allows me to live and work first-hand with first-year college students to inspire them to be the best students they can be.
I am in search of a career that will allow me to utilize both my analytical, logical reasoning skills and my intrapersonal, communication skills, where I can exercise my mind on a daily basis, but also interact with those around me.

Resident Student Mentor at Lycoming College
As a Resident Student Mentor (RSM), I work closely with the professor of the Mathematics of Games and Gambling First Year Seminar to plan in-class activities, homework assignments, and class trips/events. My primary role is to serve as a mentor to first year college students, to help them to succeed both academically and socially. I live in a community with the students taking my first year seminar course, and I work to help them feel included and to build their academic skills toolbox. I help to teach lessons in the course, hold study sessions and open office hours, and organize events for the students in my class.
As a Mathematics tutor at Lycoming College, I work in the Math Center (a branch of the college's Academic Resource Center) to help students with a wide variety of problems from Math courses. I love to work with others, to explain mathematical concepts, and to constantly exercise my logical thinking skills when I see a problem that needs to be solved.
