Daniel Mickens

As an Honors Student at Lasell College, I have focused my studies on Sport Management and Communications. Beyond my coursework, I have gained valuable experience through multiple internships. During a semester abroad in Sydney, Australia I worked as a front office intern for an Australian Baseball League team. In the summer of 2013 I was a programming intern at Major League Baseball Productions. I wrote articles as an editorial intern with an online marketing and advertising publication in New York City. In my final semester at Lasell I will be working with New England Sports Network as a sales intern. At Lasell College, I have been a part of multiple teams. Aside from being a student athlete on the baseball team, I am involved in student government as the senior class president. I have also been an orientation leader, served as a TA in a First-Year Seminar, and traveled to Ecuador on an environmental service trip. With my graduation approaching in May I am looking to apply my previous experience and skill set within the front office of a sports organization.
