Engineers Week is sponsored by KEEN (Kern Entrepreneurial Engineering Network) and the School of Engineering Dean's office. It is coordinated by staff from the School of Engineering Dean's office and multiple engineering student organizations. Each year, a team of students and staff work to develop a schedule to celebrate the unique contributions from all engineering disciplines.
Tau Beta Pi is The Engineering Honors Society. We focus on Academics, Service, Networking, and Social Events. As a chapter, we have monthly meetings with biweekly officer meetings. If members need help with their studies, we provide tutoring, etc. We also help those in our school with academic help if necessary. We conduct service projects in the community. This club is a way for commuter students to connect and network with students who live on campus and to hang out with other commuter students. We organize multiple events every semester. In the past, we've had a bowling, movies, and other exciting events.
We thrive on student input and support and this dictates what events we host each month.
