Diane Burton
Ms. Diane E. Burton is an Administrative Professional at the 224th Air Defense Group. Ms. Burtons diverse background includes 10 years active duty Air Force experience as a Personnel Specialist, as well as 4 years as a Department of Defense civilian employee at the Eastern Air Defense Sector.
Ms. Burton is native of Oneida, New York. Following high school graduation in 2005 she enlisted in the United States Air Force, reporting for Basic Training 12 July 2005. After graduating from Basic Training she participated in Hurricane Katrina relief efforts and was sent to Keesler AFB, September 2005, for technical school as a Personnel Specialist. Once arriving Keesler AFB, Ms. Burton was part of the natural disaster cleanup team at the base and in October she finally attended her 3-level course. She was stationed at Edwards Air Force Base (AFB), California and Head Quarters Air Force Personnel Center at Randolph AFB, Texas. Ms. Burton also deployed in support of Operations IRAQI FREEDOM and NEW DAWN. Ms. Burton separated Active Duty in 2015. A year later, she was hired on as a Department of Defense Title 5 Civilian of the 224th Air Defense Squadron (ADS) in Rome New York, applying her personnel, management and communications skills to assist the 224th ADS Commander with secretarial duties
