My responsibilities include managing the gage calibration program using Gagetrak. Responsibilities include all aspects of calibration, including maintaining the system, preparation for Internal and external audits, scheduling calibrations - internal and external, purchasing new gages and equipment as necessary. Correlating the sample planning for destructive and nondestructive testing with Production. Volunteering to work with Sales gathering pertinent documentation required by customers for shipments. Volunteered to organize and support DOT and ASME records and requirements to meet regulatory standards. Familiar with World Class concepts involving working in a cell environment, identifying and eliminating problems and cost reduction. Cross trained with in the Inspection department, familiar with Receiving, work in process, and final inspection. Extensive knowledge of procedures, test data sheets and work instructions. Extra duties includes assist Quality Engineer and Inspection Supervisor in determining "best use" of personnel within the Inspection dept.
