I have worked with many professors at SUNY Oswego performing unique laboratory tasks such as microtome sectioning, plant organ and root dissection, preservation, and staining. Also iris research and planting techniques, pitcher plant harvesting and maintenance. Fossil sifting and maintenance, sorting and identifying swamp plant specimens, sorting and measuring seeds were done as well. I am currently using telemetry to locate flying squirrels in order to better understand their foraging habits. I will soon be starting echolocation and sonar tracking with bats to find out more about individual roles in family groups.
