Emily Perron

I am a student at Wisconsin Lutheran College, interested in working with children. As a communication major and adaptive education minor, I am interested in how children communicate both during and after school. With my interests, I have taken lots of coursework in both communication and education. In my extracurricular activities I teach elementary students in after school programs, and when the college is on break I enjoy helping at different schools. In addition, I enjoy serving in my community and founded a service club on campus. I am also involved with New Friends, a club associated with Jesus Cares, and connects young adults with special needs children. I'd like to put my experience to good use in an upcoming internship, and as I continue to work with my students.
