Emma Fitz
My name is Emma Fitz and I am a student at Biola University. When I was eleven, my family moved to Kyrgyzstan to be missionaries. I lived there for seven years. Currently, I am unable to attend Biola because I am in remission from carcinoid cancer. This cancer was discovered in my chest over Christmas break 2011 and I had surgery in January 2012. During this surgery I lost my right lung. I praise God that this cancer was discovered and that I have recovered well! I look forward to returning to Biola for the fall semester of 2012. God is so good! I plan on attending graduate school when I leave Biola to pursue a masters degree in psychology. I am very excited about missions and I hope to use my degree on the field.
