Maintain all training records for over 1600 union members Maintain and update the training director and assistant training directors schedule Handle all travel arrangements for the training director and assistant training director Schedule and coordinate all monthly training classes including OSHA 500, Basic Superfund Site Work Training, NCCCO Testing both Written and Practical, Signal Person Safety Training, Unrestricted Asbestos Initial Training and Refresher classes, Scaffolding Classes, & Tower Crane Rigging Safety Classes Worked closely with the union legal department and the department of labor to develop and implement a new apprenticeship training program Works closely with the NYS Department of Labor, NCCCO, and OSHA Answer telephones, screen calls, take messages, and provide information Perform various administrative tasks including mailing, copying, faxing, and filing Assist the training director with outlining course curriculum as required by New York City and New York State in addition to assisting the training director with the overall functioning of classes.
