Fatmah Alnejada

The Economics Club is led by economics professors, and that club have taught me a lot about what to do next toward my major. Professors been very great in helping us understand our major more, and also gave us great tips to prepare us for grad school, and helped us discover what options we have for future careers.

I am responsible to lead my team to get as much exchange participants each semester to send abroad. Being a member of AIESEC has helped me develop my communications and leadership skills. I've been to three conferences for AIESEC. I've been to the Rowdiest Conference in 2013. The second conference was the Winter National Conference in 2014. My third conference was The Manifest Conference by the end of January of 2015, it helped me develop my leadership skills.

I've attended the meetings each week, and participated in the club activities. I've also learnt about different countries and their cultural perspective, and have built a great connections with people around the world. In that club, I've got the opportunity to participate in the Food Festival event that's held in the market place cafeteria on SVSU campus each year, I've participated twice for Kuwait the years 2011 and 2012, and have received the second place in both times.
