Working on leveraging my 14 years in industrial food production to enter manufacturing arena. Currently have a MSSC certificate, working knowledge of blueprint reading and work with Microsoft Office. Enrolled in Goodwin College's Quality management systems, associate degree During such time I determined if product met or did not meet specifications. Worked directly with manufacturing personnel and taught product standards, food safety and standard operating procedures. On an annual basis reviewed all standards, food safety and S.O.P's and taught all personnel. Enforced all USDA / FDA regulations, and worked with both USDA and FDA officials.
Having worked for a cGLP-compliant biomedical research lab, an HACCP-compliant food manufacturers, and a chemical company, I acquired a deep understanding of lab processes, quality control, safety, regulatory compliance, SOPs, and rigorous documentation in highly regulated and quality-focused environments.
In each position, I cultivated a reputation for going the extra mile, impeccable execution of assignments, and diligent follow through with an eye toward continuous improvement. While stringently following SOPs, I am able to develop novel protocols and process improvements when needed.
In addition, I have been an adjunct faculty member in the Biology department at the University of Hartford.
