Gregory Bidwell

I am an accomplished professional with over 15 years of CAT scan and Radiology experience as well as 5 years of managing staff in 2 different hospitals along with advanced education in Health Administration and Information Technology. My core competencies include: medical imaging, medical communication, analytic thinking, reliability, team building, attention to detail, and organization. I am currently transitioning into a role in the health IT industry. I am currently enrolled at J. Mack Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia seeking a Master of Science in Health Administration with a concentration in Health Informatics. I have an advanced certification in Cat Scan from the American Registry of Radiology Technologists, and have taken numerous classes in information technology at both Georgia State University and Chattahoochee Technical College in areas such as database connectivity and design, Visual Basic and Java programming, and web design. I have also had the opportunity to have a role in developing new talent, from being a mentor in my place of work to coaching and refereeing soccer youth soccer. I have also had the privilege of being a former Sunday school teacher and a leader in developing a children's program at King Spring Baptist Church in Smyrna, Georgia. I also have had the opportunity to be a substitute teacher in the Cobb County School System for a few years, and substituted for teachers in a variety of areas ranging from kindergarten to high school and from honors' classes to profoundly challenged students.
