Key ClubLieutenant GovernorJessica was installed as the Lieutenant Governor for the Illinois-Eastern Iowa District of Key Club International in March of 2016. When she finished her term a year later, she had earned the Robert F. Lucas Outstanding Lieutenant Governor Award, as well as the Himmel/Smith/McConnell Outstanding Lientant Governor Award. This award is only given to one District officer every year, and is awarded based on the individuals performance and accomplishments during their term.

During the Summer, Jessica worked as a volunteer at the SIH Memorial Hospital in Carbondale, Illinois. She performed a variety of tasks, from acting as a cashier in the gift shop to transferring outgoing patients. However, she spent the majority of her time in the birthing center doing data entry.
