Jocelyn Kopac

Growing up on a small farmete, now vineyard, in southern Wisconsin, Jocelyn Kopac has a love for animals and agriculture. An active participant, both growing up and as an adult, in the Walworth County 4-H Youth Program, raising and training animals is one of her many passions. She is still actively training and showing horses. She is now a University of Wisconsin- Whitewater senior majoring in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Law and a minor in International Business. She is also an accomplished musician playing and teaching violin, viola and piano. An outcome for her love of music was the creation of a viable business that centers on music education, composition and professional event musicianship. As a result, she was accepted into the UW-W LaunchPad Program as one of their fall semester scholars and is working in a close knit group of entrepreneurs to discover customers, create prototypes, develop lasting business models and participate in growing fellow scholar's incubating companies. As a professional, she has worked across a span of many start-up/incubating companies and small, family owned business on initiatives to grow and expand their opportunities, audiences and customer bases. In previous and current experiences she has had a hand in audience growth and engagement, social media development, market research, newsletters, new product initiatives, accounting and accounts payable, employee hiring, training and management and B2B partnerships.
