Kaylee Lindenmuth

I'm a 2017 Graduate of Shenandoah Valley (PA) High School, a Freshman at Kutztown (PA) University, and an aspiring journalist. I'm dedicated to do whatever it takes to earn a position at an organization where I can serve communities by covering the news and events which matter to them. Some steps I've taken in pursuit of such a career have included the creation of an online news source, The Shenandoah Sentinel, covering news and events in my hometown of Shenandoah, Pennsylvania, and the surrounding northern Schuylkill County region, an internship at WYLN-TV 35 in Hazleton, Pennsylvania, shadowing at WBRE-TV in Wilkes-Barre Pennsylvania, and contributions to the Coal Cracker youth-led newspaper in Mahanoy City, Pennsylvania as a writer. My efforts in operating the Shenandoah Sentinel were highlighted in a February 2016 story on WBRE/WYOU's Eyewitness News, and in an April 2016 story on WFMZ-TV's 69 News. To date, I have covered three stories for WBRE/WYOU's Eyewitness News as a videographer, writing the script for one of the stories, and my photos and video have been featured on WBRE/WYOU, WYLN, and WNEP.
