Kathryn Gustafson

I have been in marketing for over 14 years, and began my own marketing company in 2010. it didn't take long for me to realize that not having a degree was holding me back in many ways. So, in 2012, I decided to enroll back in college to pursue a marketing degree which I never finished during my time as a goof-off in college during the 80's. My goal when I first enrolled was to finish my degree and find a position working at the government level producing marketing campaigns for sustainability issues. One of my accomplishments in this area was the honor of a 2012 ADDY award from the American Advertising Federation for an integrated marketing campaign I developed for a sustainability awareness initiative at Rock Valley College. Even though marketing is my passion, as most do during their time exploring different disciplines in college, I found that I have a love for law. I am planning to apply to various law schools so I may continue on to achieve a Juris Doctorate. I have interest in the areas of criminal justice, social justice, and family law.
