Majoring in Cell And Molecular Biology
San Diego State University
From Coronado, CA
I study cardiac derived stem cells to improve their therapeutic potential for regenerating the post-infarct myocardial tissue. I am fascinated with stem cell biology and cardiac repair, so to be able to study the combination of two is a dream come true. Besides being a early career research scientist I am a committed yogi, and I maintain balance in my life through meditation and yoga.
