I am very excited to begin my career in the helping profession of social work. I believe in advocating for those who have been oppressed, abused, neglected, abandoned, orphaned, or made to feel hopeless or worthless in one way or another. I believe in the worth and potential of all human beings and will stand firm for both mercy and justice, despite opposition. I am only one, but I am powerful. I am surrounded by many others who will passionately come beside me and fight to the bitter end. I am a social worker.
