Kristy Hammerschmidt

I am a mother of 3 who went back to school as an adult.   The journey has been long but rewarding and I will be glad to finish schooling.  I went back to school when my youngest was 2 and he is now 11.  My nursing career has gone from CNA, CMA, LPN, ARN, BSN, and now MSN.  During this time, I have attended 4 schools for nursing and before that KSU.  I received the Highest GPA award for my LPN class and made the Deans List.  During ARN, I received recognition for accomplishments in Advanced Medical Surgical clinical rotation,  So far since going back to school, I believe I have received all A's and only 2 B's.  That is a lot of hard work and am looking forward to completing my MSN degree and enjoying all of the extra free time I am currently missing!
