2015 to Present HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE I have no working experience in the industry, except for classroom instruction and on-campus work projects. 2007 to 2015 Retirement from General Motors Involved in volunteer community organizations and civic organizations. Served as a mentor with teenagers and young adults. 1978 to 2007 GENERAL MOTORS CORPORATION Held numerous salaried field and staff positions with Chevrolet Motor Division, GM Corporation, GM Fleet and Commercial Operations, and GM Service Parts Operations throughout the country at the branch, regional levels, and at the World Headquarters (Detroit, MI). Retired in 2007. 1972 TO 1986 MILITARY SERVICE Commissioned Second Lieutenant, U.S. Army Reserve, Finance Corps 1972 to 1974. Honorably discharged Entered U.S. Marine Corps in 1974 as a commissioned officer and served with the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing as a Supply and Armory Officer. Honorably discharged from the Marine Corps Reserve in 1987 at the rank of Captain.
