I am a writer who desires to inspire and change the world. I am especially concerned with civil rights and race issues. My aim is to create books and movies that talk about important issues and bring about change. Language can be a powerful tool in aiding the start of powerful and important conversations that need to be had even if we avoid them in fear of the controversial nature of certain topics. We were given a voice and we should use it to make our messages known and help create a better world. I am hard working, dedicated, organized, and passionate.

Intern at Ashland Center for Nonviolence
As a blogger for the Center for Nonviolence I've created not only written pieces but also artwork and a documentary in order to explore race relations on campus and start an important conversation on campus. My aim through my main campaign (Know Violence. No Violence) is to help spread awareness of forms of violence not typically considered to be violent acts and create a consciences about how to stop these actions and have a peaceful campus.

Tutor at Center for Academic Support
As a tutor I worked one on one with students in subjects such as Spanish and Geology to help their understanding of subject matters through examples so they could excel in exams and really learn the most from their classes. Helped improve grades, understanding of assignments and overall understanding of subject matters.
