I absolutely despise these blurbs that made you write about yourself, because I honestly don't know what to write. I could write about my accomplishments, but then I'll come off as conceited. I could write about my personality, but how I see myself and how others see me are two completely different things. People say I'm really nice and caring and friendly and a hard worker. True, I take pride in all of my work and I do care for those who walk into my life, even those whom I dislike, but I see myself as a bit awkward and a bit too bubbly. But I will leave that for you to decide. 

If you don't want to read through my rants, that's fine. Here's the gist:

I am an art student at Albright College that takes pride in my work. I have managed to get a piece into the student show of the school's gallery. I am involved both in AVAO and Yearbook, as well as some fun things like Gamer's Guild and a game called Humans vs Zombies. I have also been given the opportunity to study abroad in Florence, Italy at the Lorenzo de Medici in summer 2014.

As for my art, my art is my life. It's my pride and joy, and every single piece is like a part of me. Some tell stories, others how I'm feeling at that moment. My art makes up for what I cannot put into words, and that is a lot. I dabble in just about every single category: paintings, sculpture, photography, drawings, digital works and recently, fashion. 

I love art so much that I want to become an art teacher. You see, my love for art was inspired by all of the great art teachers I've had in the past, and I wish, even if it is one child, that I inspire them to take their talent and walk miles with it. Which is why I aspire to become an art teacher. 

To me, everyone has that little artist in them. It may be obvious at first, it may not. Your work may be so realistic that it looks as if you can pick it up off of the page, or it may be so abstract it leaves people baffled. Whatever the case, art is art, and if your piece doesn't seem to fit in or look like some one else's, who cares? All that should matter is that you are happy with it; you made it after all. Someone once told me this, when I doubted my work, and I want to be able to convey this to every single child that takes a seat in my classroom. If art is not your forte that's fine, just don't you dare tell yourself they you can't create any form of art. You don't know until you try, and believe me, there's a lot for you to try out in the artistic field.
