Co Owner with best friend from high school. Have multiple yards that we mow weekly and also are experienced in mulching, trimming bushes/trees, planting flowers, and laying new grass.
Walker's Lawn Care started in high school with my best friend Walker Beasley. We decided to start a lawn care company and it spread throughout our city quickly. During the summer we would service 15-20 yards during the week with bigger projects like mulching, trimming, laying sod and flower beds on the weekends. during the school year the business slowed down some which allowed us to move most of them to the weekends. We also picked up seasonal projects like raking leaves, trimming trees and cleaning pools when available. My best friend and I were very successful as two entrepreneurs throughout high school.
When I was 10 years old I started my own pet sitting business which continued to the age of 14. I took care of all kinds of animals in and around the neighborhood i lived in. I started "Matthew To The Rescue" because I wanted to be able to buy my own electronics, food, and some clothes so I wouldn't have to rely on my parents for everything. I'm so happy my parents encouraged me to become a young entrepreneur.
